Turmeric is a yellow spice that’s a part of the ginger family (also super healthy for you). When I first heard about Turmeric, I 100% had to try it because of all the amazing benefits. I started using the Turmeric mask a few weeks ago and I’m loving it. My skin is bright and glowy from this life saver.
Benefits
ANTI-AGING | CALMING FOR OILY + DRY SKIN | SOOTHES BURNS | REDUCES STRETCH MARKS | EVENS SKIN TONE | BRIGHTENS SKIN | REMOVES HAIR | CLEARS DANDRUFF | REMOVES DEAD SKIN | CLEARS ACNE
All Natural Turmeric Face Mask
1 teaspoon of Turmeric
1 teaspoon of Raw Organic Honey
1 teaspoon of Milk or Organic Plain Yogurt
Use a cosmetic brush or your hands to smooth the mask onto your face. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and wash of using a face cloth and warm water. Be warned though! Before applying this mask, make sure you have coconut oil or a good exfoliating facial cleanser. The turmeric mask leaves behind a yellow pigmentation. I was terrified the first time that I took the mask off, but an exfoliator will help scrub away the residual pigment. You can also use coconut oil on a face cloth to gently buff away the residue.

Your body will love you for bringing Turmeric into your diet.
Turmeric can be taken in supplement form, which I personally like because it’s quick and easy. If you’re someone who likes experimenting in the kitchen, Turmeric can also be cooked into food like any other spice. Try it in scrambled eggs, smoothies, on roasted veggies or in soup. One last option! I love tea, so if you’re like me, you can also try Turmeric tea. Find it in any health food store or section.
