Like most girls, I’m willing to spend a little bit more money on staple pieces in a wardrobe, like a good pair of jeans. Sometimes, though, you just don’t have the spare $200 lying around to dish out on denim. In this post I’ve laid out for you guys all of my favorite, go-to stores for affordable, quality denim that you won’t have to spend your entire paycheck on. The jeans at these places are seriously awesome, and I can promise you that you won’t be left feeling guilty when you’re checking yourself out in your new pair.
Free People
Despite the fact that almost everything on the site will empty your wallet, Free People has some kick ass denim for just around $75. The benefits of buying from Free People are that you know the quality is good. On point color options, trendy cuts and the perfect amount of stretch are what bring me to Free People denim time and time again. I own at least 4 pairs and highly recommend them for everyday wear.
H&M
I was always hesitant to shop H&M’s denim, afraid that after one wash they would fall apart, but I was really wrong. H&M’s denim has stepped it up in recent years and any quick trip to their stores will show you that. Not only do they offer almost any shade of blue denim you could possibly think of, plus a few more, but their classic style denim makes the perfect addition to any collection of “must-have” basics. H&M has come out with tons of awesomely retro denim skirts recently, which are all the rage in fashion right now, so they definitely cater to the trends while sticking true to good old fashion denim.
ASOS
Who doesn’t love ASOS? I’d challenge anyone who said they didn’t. On top of having the most diverse and awesome selection of denim, ASOS also has speciality sizing to make sure you get that perfect fit. Doesn’t matter if you’re tall, plus, or petite, ASOS denim really has it all. This retailer “has it all” in terms of pricing too, with denim ranging from as low as in the $20 range to up in the $300’s. I’m almost positive you’ll be able to find a pair of jeans to fall in love with on this site, so definitely check them out.
American Eagle
I know everyone looks at American Eagle as that store we all used to shop at back in high school, but if you haven’t walked into a store lately, you should. Though the whole American Eagle clothing style isn’t really my thing, they have some kick ass denim. They carry almost every cut of denim you could ask for with a really great fit. I find that American Eagle jeans do the most for me in terms of giving my booty that extra lift and shape, and a pair of AEO jeans won’t cost you more than $60. How can you go wrong there?
P.S. Highly recommend trying out their 4-way stretch denim for those lazy sunday’s you need to throw something presentable on, while still getting that comfy weekend vibe.
