Guys. Let’s get real honest. Spending the week with Revolve for #RevolveAroundTheWorldLA was a dream come true. True story: I cried a little when I got the invite.
To sum up the week in three words: extra, empowering, energy-draining.
Revolve doesn’t mess around, so when you’re working with them on a trip, collaboration, whatever it may be, they mean business. I can’t really place a number on the amount of girls that were there during the events. I can say for sure that there were around 20 faces that I saw at every event through the week. Let me tell you, Revolve kept us girls busy.
From the outside, these events seems like the most fun thing ever, and don’t get me wrong, they are, but it’s also a lot of work. What you’re not seeing in the background of those Insta stories with pretty girls in free clothes drinking free drinks are 6 lines of 10 girls each, waiting to take a photo in the Instagram-worthy spot, girls carrying bags of stuff so that they can maximize content, everyone fixing the dark circles under their eyes from sleepless nights editing photos, and lots of sweat. Each and every one of the girls who attends a Revolve Around The World event earns her place there through the week. And don’t even get me started on the absolute badasses who work at Revolve. Those amazing humans work harder than anyone else and I’m incredibly impressed at how dedicated they are to doing their jobs and doing them well.
SHOP THE LOOKS

With that realness being said, I had the best time of my life. I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest girls over the week from all facets of the industry, including models, actresses, fellow bloggers and photographers. My experience definitely wouldn’t have been the same without them and I’m so grateful that we live in a time where women support other women. Speaking of which, I was openly fan-girling over a (large) number of people at these events, some of which include @gypsyone, @happilygrey, @kaiagerber and @littleblackboots. It was a really cool moment for me to be in the same place as them, invited to the same events, and I’m shameless about it.
As you can see from my schedule, it was a busy week. We typically had a morning event and an evening event, with maybe 2-3 hours in between. Those 2-3 hours were spent frantically editing photos, traveling, re-getting ready, and finding whatever smidgen of time we could to shoot looks in between. It was insane, and insanely fun.
Seriously, feel free to drop any questions you might have about my monthly work with Revolve, the #RevolveAroundTheWorld trip, or anything else for that matter! I’ll be answering all of your questions right here xx
