If you’re anything like me, you’re a dreamer. I’m constantly in wanderlust for the next city. It sounds cliche, but I spend a lot of my Sundays thinking about cities I’ve never been to and people I’ve never met. The winter temperatures in New York City are absolutely brutal, so it’s really easy for me to get caught up in a day dream. I’ll start thinking about a stroll through the streets of France, the smell of warm air, fresh flowers and deep romance, and get completely lost in that thought. Lately, my day dreams have been fueled by the thought of croissants and Chanel Official.
One of the reasons I come back to Chanel again and again has a lot to do with the brand’s ability to make me feel like I’m somewhere much bigger than where I am. Their fragrances are iconic, timeless and have that unique ability to take me places… the same places my day dreams take me. The Les Eaux de Chanel fragrance collection from Chanel Official was my way of gifting myself a little escape. Even though I’m stuck in New York most of the time, Chanel lets me pretend I’m somewhere else, in three pretty glass bottles. The fragrances are inspired by some of the most romantic cities in the world–Venice, Deauville & Biarritz. Honestly, this brand does no wrong. The fragrances are all beautifully unique and tell individual stories that speak to the cities they’re named after. Romantic, right?
Not for nothing, but these fragrances are such a thoughtful gift idea for the holidays. Guys–don’t be afraid to surprise your girl with a trip to France alongside the Chanel bottle (wink, wink).
